While the standard Translucent version is all about lightness, the Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder in Translucent Extra Coverage (35g) is the heavy hitter of the family. It combines the setting power of a loose powder with the high-pigment payoff of a foundation.
Think of it as the "industrial strength" version of a classic—perfect for those who want that ultra-smooth, porcelain-doll finish.
Product Features
High-Impact Coverage: Unlike the standard version, "Extra Coverage" contains more pigment to help even out skin tone and cover redness or imperfections.
The "Airspun" Process: Particles are spun until they reach a cloud-like softness, ensuring the powder sits on the skin rather than settling into pores.
Matte Perfection: Instantly eliminates shine and provides a flat matte finish that lasts for hours.
Long-Wear Formula: Specifically formulated to extend the life of your makeup, even in humid conditions.
Application Tips
The "Full Coverage" Hack: Apply with the included puff using a "press and roll" motion to pack the powder onto areas with larger pores or redness.
The "Baking" Specialist: Because of the extra coverage, this is one of the best powders for baking under-eye concealer to ensure zero creasing and maximum brightness.
Note on Scent: This product is famous for its distinct, vintage floral fragrance. If you have extremely sensitive skin or a sensitivity to scents, you'll want to apply a small amount first.
Why Choose "Extra Coverage"?
While most translucent powders disappear into the skin, this one provides a soft-focus veil. It’s the go-to choice if you feel your foundation needs a little extra help or if you want your skin to look completely filtered in photos.
